NEW!!!!
Uncle
Daniel is dead, run over by a herd of motorcyclists and then smashed
flat by a cement truck. It's the answer to everybody's prayers, or
at least to those of his great-niece, Pianora Duvall, who manages the Grand
Old Gullywumpers,
her mother's country and western band. Uncle Daniel
was rolling in money and Pianora's mother is the only heir. Happy
days are here again! Unfortunately, when Pianora and the band decide
to move into the family mansion in Brentwood (an affluent Los Angeles
suburb), they find that the house comes equipped with a sullen
caretaker, a dimwitted scullery maid, and a large stuffed crocodile hanging from
the ceiling. Oh yes,
and a cozy little family cemetery
in the back yard. Just when Pianora is
making headway with the
caretaker, all hell breaks loose and both he and all
five members of the Grand
Old Gullywumpers
are carried off by an eldritch doom. Naturally,
Pianora has to go
look for them. For
one thing, it's in her contract, and for another she wasn't quite
done with the caretaker. Battling darkness, demons, and a snowstorm
that comes indoors to look for victims, our intrepid heroine is
determined to win despite the odds and get back to a cold drink, a
warm shower and a hot caretaker.
