comment: 300 million mouths, Jack at the rate we are spreading democracy around the world there wont be any food shortages. As far as the LCFP responding to your posting they are probably tired of trying to teach people like you what the truth is I don't think you would know a fact if it bit you in the ass. Well Jack eating all those GMO laden tomatos may not have you glowing yet but they have affected your mental capacity. When a tomato can sit on a counter for 3 to 4 weeks no refridgeration and still look perfect, there is something wrong. Take a nice big bite out of that thick tough skined tomato and taste the blandness and lack of flavor and then spit out that wad of pulp/skin what a taste treet. Hey Jack just try and grow a tomato from say a ton of those GMO tomato seeds. Pestisides like agribusiness are there for the money nothing else. By the way what kind of organic farmer sprays in the middle of the night hot or cold, smells like pesticide. They would'nt need armour plated skins if they weren't shipping then from South America putting AMERICAN farmers out of business. Please try and respond it's like star search for fools.

comment: I would just like to say, as a Lake County Resident of over 10 years, that a GMO ban would be stupid. We have been eating the stuff for years. Did you know that some tomatoes have fish genes to protect them from disease? That saves us all from pesticides, doesn't it? How about feasabilty: tomatoes are modified to have tougher skins so they can be transported without breaking. I personally have been eating GMO foods for all 27 years of my life(but do prefer home grown, when in season), and I'm not glowing in the dark yet. GMO foods are designed to maximize productivity( lets not forget we have 300 million hungry mouths to feed) and they are also, in a more important stance, better for the environment because they are disease resistant, or fend off bugs better. This saves us all by reducing the amount of pesticides, and fertilizers that are in the food, and in the ground water. It is just rediculous to think that a GMO ban for Lake County could actually be a reality. ! I'm sure you all will have some reason that you THINK is strong evidence against this, but THESE ARE THE FACTS! Also please do not tell me what you think. Post it here for the world to see. comment: Congratulations and Thank You to all decision makers and change agents involved in changing the mascot name for kelseyville high. This effort makes me proud to have Clayton Duncan as my uncle and Mr. Rick Winer as a friend . A 5-0 vote by the board resignates that change i s possible in our society today even if his name has been intact for over 85 years. Lets not simply stop there and and reconsider the name Kelsey himself . Looking at the facts and his treatment of Pomo's in this county does he really derserve a town to be named after him?

Until the United States' terrorists and assassins are stopped in their tracks, the world can not rest.
