Ukiah, California is located in a beautiful little valley nestled in the coastal range foothills about 60 miles inland and 120 miles north of San Francisco. Situated at the northern end of California wine country in Mendocino County, we have an ideal climate for agriculture, viticulture, recreation, gardening and just plain lots of year round out door living. We are surrounded by forests and wilderness areas, enjoy several nearby lakes, and the Russian River runs along the east side of town. Mendocino College is just outside the city limits, and we have shopping, entertainment, and cultural events--too numerous to mention. No wonder we were voted #1 small town in the USA!
