Condolences and Reflections for

Cimmie Walker

May 26 1927 ~ May 17, 2000

I've seen Cimmie several times through the years and was touched at the joy that came into her life these last few years. She was a delight and I'm glad to have known her. My heart goes out to her family and friends and I'm praying for them.

I got to know Cimmie in the summer of 1987... I stayed in Susie and Stanley's house and took care of their kitty cats while doing an intership for pharmacy school. Cimmie and I went to the beach together at least once a week and hung out... We talked about so much and had so much fun. She was so very young and heart and so funny!!! She was a very dear friend to me. We stayed in touch through the years mostly with Christmas cards and a few letters... She even sent some of her yummy jams she made from the berries in Montana. Cimmie was a beautiful person and I know she is with God now. She fought a long struggle and was always so very brave. My thoughts are with her, and also with all who loved her. I will miss her so very much.

I did not know Cimmie. I have read the web page dedicated to her and wish I had known her. She seems like such a wonderful lady. I got such a sense of peace when I read about her situation and how she handles it. Brian and family, May the Lord Bless you and yours. You have a big heart and Cimmie and Heather are lucky to have someone like you in their lives. God Bless.. :)

Cimmie was a wonderful Grandmother. And I will miss her very much. I am so thankful that I had the privilege of sharing her last week with her. I know that she is now home with the Lord and I rejoice in that with her! For I know that because my Redeemer lives some day we will be reunited. But until that day her memory will live on in my heart...and those final words she spoke to me..."Trenna...I love you!"

On the day Cimmie went to be with our Lord, I lost my second "mother". There is a special connection between girls and mothers. Cimmie was very good to me. She was a mother and a friend and I will miss her very much. I'm so thankful that I agreed to go to Bible study with her church group. We had wonderful times of fellowship together. There are many precious memories. I am thankful to the Lord for her and am so greatful for the hope of seeing her again someday. I love you, Mom. Clar

I have known Cimmie since the day Mom brought her home from the hospital. She was kind of funny-looking then, but she grew as most flowers do and became one of the most special sisters. She loved and was loved by many, especially our family. never a cross word or thought, her life was lived by "giving". I know you are with our Lord now, Cimmie.Say "hello" to Mother, Dad, Meredith and Heather, and we'll meet you again "at Jesus'feet". I love you very much. Shirley say

Cimmie sounds like a very special woman. You were very fortunate to have her in your life, as she was to have you in hers. How blessed we are when we can share our lifetimes with people such as Cimmie. May you find comfort in your memories of this wonderful lady.

Cimmie was my dearest friend for over 60 years. She was closer to me than my own sisters. She came to visit me last October, how thankful I am for that time together. I cannot putinto words the closeness of our friendship. We shared so much, from young girls in the 6th grade, to grown women with children and grandchildren. I am so thankful Cimmie knew the Lord in a personal way and that I have the confidence that we will see each other in heaven and resume our friendship around the throne of God. What a blessed hope! She is walking the streets of Glory now and someday, not in the too distance future I shall join her there! I loved you dearly, Cimmie. A big part of my life is missing now that you have gone on before me, but I will see you soon. Helen

My aunt Cimmie was a special lady. When I was young, she lived across the street. She would hire me to 'detail' her 1964 Oldsmobile Cutlass because I was one of the few people who could do the job the way she liked it. She had moved to Montana to be near her son John and his family. I know she enjoyed their company and the grandchildren very much. I will miss her but I am so very glad that in the later years of her life she met my very best friend and savior, Jesus. Cimmie is now with Him! Some day in the future I will see Cimmie again when we gather around God's throne in Heaven, what a day that will be! What a reunion! I am praying for her family and friends.

I have many special comments I'd like to say, but a few that I will say now, is that as sisters we had a very special bond together, we talked about life as it had been, was, and the here after. We loved the Lord, and shared that so much in these latter times. I know she's in a much better place, no more worry's, no more pain, and where there'll be no more tears, reuniting with the ones that have gone before us. I will always miss her, love her, and wait till we are reunited again, thanking God for that "Blessed Hope" He gave to us.God gave us a "threescore and ten" years of life, and she lived hers.So many didn't get that chance. Cimmie, your the lucky one. Tell Ma and Pa how much we miss them, your sister, Susie.

My heart is heavy with the loss I feel now, but my spirits are high knowing that Cimmie is now with a lot of her friends and relatives that have taken this journey before her. I am sure she was met at the gates of Heaven by many, all with open arms, after a brief stop at the Rainbow Bridge. Cimmie I will miss you, but you will never be forgotten. You are a very special lady, I love you.
